Connexions aims to provide, information, guidance and access to personal development opportunities, to help young people move into adulthood more smoothly.
Its objectives include; raising aspirations and achievements; encouraging more young people to stay in learning and tackling the barriers that prevent some young people from achieving their full potential.
It brings together all the services that support young people in various ways e.g. careers services, youth services, social services, voluntary organisations, schools, colleges etc.
