Community Plan

 

Amber Valley Partnership and LSP have reviewed the Community Plan which outlines the priorities for improvement around the borough over the next year.

 

In general, the community strategy for 2007-2010 has six themes:

 

Safer Communities

Quality Housing & Environment

Supporting Young People ( up to 25 years)

Thriving Economy and Employment

Healthier Communities

Supporting Older People

 

Amber Valley CVS have agreed to be Lead Board Member for the “Supporting Older People” theme.

 

In support of the Community Strategy, Amber Valley CVS attend Executive and Board meetings and subgroups of the Amber Valley LSP.

 

We will be working with those partners to identify new organisations from the sector to highlight the impact they have on our communities and the contribution their work has towards the action plans.

 

A key role of LSP members will be to lobby for resources needed for Amber Valley, so your input is essential.
