SOS Referrals
Which children and families can be referred?
Families must live in Amber Valley or Erewash and have a child aged from birth to 14 years
Referrals are received from various agencies in the voluntary and statutory sector in addition to self referrals. Primarily the development worker with permission from parents and young people works independently or alongside other professionals to address the needs of a family. Each agency involved provides relevant support within their level of service provision. However, the SOS Team specifically offer a service to meet lower to medium level need in an attempt to prevent escalation to significant need.
Who can make a referral?
Referrals can be made by families and professionals. If you would like to discuss referring a family support or obtain signpost information please contact the SOS Team at Amber Valley CVS on 01773 512076. A referral form can also be downloaded here:
